(Teade x Ginetta (Nettie) When we observed the Teade offspring we were very pleased with how consistently he threw his exuberant animation as well as fine, chiseled little heads and lots of hair. Since we like to breed "likeness to likeness" we thought Teade would cross well with our beautiful Nettie. But the resulting cross far exceeded even what we expected! Meet the lovely Utta Martya of Orcas Island, also known as Marti. She is exactly what we are striving for in our breeding program and she will remain at Orcas Island Friesians and Gypsy Vanners to add to our Friesian gene pool.
We are planning on repeating the Teade/Nettie cross in the Spring of 2008.
